Έκθεση "Land-Mark" της Janet Flynn στην 'Επαυλη Τσιροπινά

Μετά την επιτυχία της πρώτης βραδιάς στις 3/09/22 η έκθεση με τίτλο "Land-Mark" με έργα της Janet Flynn, καλλιτέχνιδος που ζει μόνιμα στη Σύρο, συνεχίζεται καθημερινά από 14.00-20.00 μέχρι τις 15 Σεπτεμβρίου στην Έπαυλη Τσιροπινά στην Ποσειδώνια.

 
Τα έργα αποτελούν μια καλλιτεχνική απόδοση της επίδρασης ανθρώπων, τεχνολογίας και ανακαίνισης στο πανέμορφο τοπίο της Σύρου. Η υπέροχη λαμπρότητα του Αιγαίου είναι το θέμα των πάνω από 60 έργων τέχνης.

Exhibition

Following a well-attended opening night last evening - 03/09/22, the exhibition, entitled Land-Mark, of paintings by locally resident artist Janet Flynn, contiinues from 14.00-20.00, daily until 15th September at Tsiporina Mansion in Poseidonia. The vibrant paintings portray the artist's impression of the influence of people, technology and innovation on the  beautiful landscape of Syros. Aegean light and colour sparkle from more than sixty works of art.

The exhibition has been curated by Dubai gallerist, Sharon Harvey with technical support from Steve Hopewell.  Special thanks to those who have encouraged and supported Janet to focus on developing a collection of paintings this year and in particular the staff from the Syros Culture and Arts department for suggesting this beautiful venue in Posidonia.

The Artist

Janet has visited the Island for many years and has now settled here. The Island of Syros provides constant wonder and stimulus for her paintings. Her love and appreciation of nature is: "a precious and vital resource to be nurtured and protected. The earth seems to be reacting, it feeds into your psyche" says Janet.

Her Paintings have been shown and collected internationally and this is her second Syros exhibition.

Workshops

Janet is an experienced teacher and will be offering practical creative drawing workshops for those who would like to have a go. Materials will be provided. Teaching will be in English. Numbers will be limited to 8 per session. For further details and booking, contact: janet.flynn@flynnfineart.co.uk
